Our Process
|
We manufacture our pressure switches to order. Inventory is not kept in our facility. When an order is placed we have our customer send us a purchase order which then becomes a work order. The work order and purchase order are put in a plastic pouch where a "Part Assembly Sheet" and a "Certification of Conformance Form" are enclosed specifically for that order. Two copies of these forms are made. One form is sent with the finished order and one form is kept on file for 10 years.
The parts are pulled for the pressure switch that is going to be manufactured. These parts are listed on the "Part Assembly Sheet" along with the quantity pulled and the invoice number that the parts had come from. This is a way that we can keep track so we can track where every part came from to manufacture the pressure switch. |

After the pulled parts are placed on an order tray, the pressure switches are assembled individually. Once the orders of pressure switches are assembled, then they are calibrated on a test stand using "Pressure Gauges" to monitor the increasing and decreasing PSIG for the specific pressure switch ordered. The order is then placed in an oven to be baked to seal all the pressure switches.
Once finished on the oven, each pressure switch is tested again to insure that the right calibrations are reading on the "Pressure Gauges". Each calibration is written down on a "Pressure Data Sheet" that will be inserted inside the protective sealed envelope that the pressure switch is packaged in. Each pressure switch is assigned a serial number along with a nameplate stating all the information associated with the particular pressure switch.
Are pressure switches with be tested 3 times or more before they are packaged and sent to you the customer. We also do various leakage tests to insure that the pressure switch has no leakage.
